Raising a racket at Uncle Lou’s before International Noise Conference

January 24, 2014
By

Miami’s annual noisy reunion of experimental acts from all over the globe frequently leads many of the edgiest talents right through Orlando on their way to Miami’s International Noise Conference, which means that every year here in Orlando, we get treated to (and at times tested by) a pre-I.N.C. show. This year, the pre-party show is at Uncle Lou’s, and features some cool locals who are no strangers to I.N.C. like Grudakris (also goes by Kris Gruda) whose improvisational guitar is far from traditional:

Then, there’s the Rot Guts who are repeat offenders having played I.N.C. last year. Watch some of that performance below:

You can also catch Payne Johnson, performing as Gradius Cat, who was instrumental in putting together this pre-I.N.C. show:

As of the time of this writing, the lineup is still being capably shaped by B.L.U.R.T. CFC to feature more of this almost-amorphous music in a night that’s sure to shake up Lou’s at 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3. (RSVP here)
