Short Film Friday – After School Sex and a Living Nightmare
Love You More (NSFW)
Dir: Sam Taylor-Wood
I wrote about Sam Taylor-Wood in my blog this week about Danny Boyle’s needless worry about the future of (British) film, and this is specifically the film I was talking about with her. She turned some heads at Cannes with this one a few years ago.
Well, growing up listening to punk records after a shitty day at school was never quite as interesting for me as it was for Sam Taylor-Wood and her protagonists. Maybe I listened to too much Black Flag and not enough Buzzcocks, but punk was a decidedly “screw everyone in the world” kind of thing… just not “screw” in the fun sense.

Key of E @ Orlando Fringe Theater Festival
Our own Adam McCabe was behind this menacing psychological horror short about one man’s living nightmare, based on the musical Key of E, which will be performed at the Orlando Fringe Theater Festival throughout May.
Dir: Stoopid Buddy Stoodios
The quality of the stop motion in this short little action-chase scene is absolutely stunning. It’ll have you second guessing whether the whole thing was actually stop motion.
