Oblivion Taproom heats up for April 20th, welcomes, and farewells
Call it serendipitous or melancholic, but the Oblivion Taproom family has double the reason to throw a thunderous party today. In addition to the non-oblique-or-euphemistic, solely ecological focus of their April 20th bonanza, “420 — The Passing of the Torch”, this year’s extravaganza adds an earnest, poignant twinge as it celebrates both departing Oblivion Chef Goody and his successor Chef Big Bruno. These maestros of munch have collaborated on a specialty menu to commemorate the transition, bundling Goody’s signature barbecue prowess with Oblivion’s beefy beer list one last time while showcasing the command of local organic ingredients that made Big Bruno’s eponymous food truck such a hit. Some Oblivion acolytes might weep into their burgers as Goody exits stage right, but rest assured: your favorite burger-beer haunt is in good hands. So stop in to toast our growing, green Earth or Oblivion’s lauded culinary tandem — either way, it’s going to be a fantastic fanfare.
