The 22nd Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival might still be over two months away, but Fringe season has already kicked into high gear with last Monday night's fundraiser at Hard Rock Live. The second annual Fringe event at the Universal Orlando venue was hosted by film star and beat boxing legend Michael Winslow, who introduced a wide range of variety acts over the nearly 3-hour show.

Performers included The Downtowners; Yow, Emotions, and ME Dance; Skill Focus Burlesque; and Piranha The Musical. Musical highlights featured The Mudflappers and The Downgetters, a local “super group” starring Joseph Martens and Kaliegh Baker. Between ticket sales, raffles, and donations, the evening netted over $7000 for the festival, which officially starts on May 15th in Loch Haven Park and Ivanhoe Village.
