Did you hear that? Big trucks. Small cars. The shattering roar of an engine. That’s right, Monster Jam is back at the Florida Citrus Bowl, and for the first time ever, an Orlando resident drives to the forefront of this year’s event. Bari Musawwir, the driver of Spider-Man (and currently the sport’s only African-American driver), will proudly rep Orlando as he maneuvers – and hurdles and races and whatever other insane feats he can manage – his monster truck throughout the outdoor stadium. If you’ve never witnessed a monster truck rally, it’s one of those high-adrenaline-type rushes only best experienced in person – though it is at times a tad terrifying. Plus, it’s a chance to cheer on one of our own (and those other drivers, too). If you’re looking for things to get really loud, head over to the stadium early around 2 p.m. to get in some pre-rally tailgating action at the Pit Party. – Shelby England
