XOXO/Mother Night calls it quits, last show Feb. 21.
Last call for hugs & kisses: XOXO, the local indie-pop group we couldn’t stop writing about – even after they changed their name to the much less punchline-ready Mother Night – is disbanding, “or at least [going on] hiatus,” according to their bassist, Kyle Raker.
Their farewell party is Feb. 21 at Will’s Pub with a packed bill featuring Great Deceivers, Boston’s Pile and Surfin Serf. There’s a free keg and admission’s only $3, so there’s no reason not to see them off in style.
So long, boys.
