Falling rather quickly: Swell Season completes mission.

Oh, come on. Face it, listening to the beautiful melancholia of the Swell Season (or, my personal fave, Damien Rice) is like a game of suicidal chicken: How many strums does it take to get to the center of your hopeless existence? How many falsettos can you endure before reaching for the knife?
Now, somebody’s gone and done it right in front of them, live and in-person. Not to be insensitive – and with tongue fully in cheek, as Markéta Irglová is one of the nicest people I’ve ever talked to – but they had to know it was coming.
