Give Kids the World, a nonprofit that gives kids with serious illnesses free vacations at its 70-acre whimsical resort in Kissimmee, is getting an extreme makeover. Nearly 100 of its vacation units, which were perfectly nice if a little bit dated and unexciting, have been undergoing complete overhauls, Extreme Home Makeover style.

Windham Vacation Ownership spearheaded the effort to transform the 25-year-old vacation village over the course of two weeks, and on Friday, Jan. 24, the project will be revealed live on Good Morning America. The show’s co-anchor, Josh Elliott, will be joined by Extreme Home Makeover’s Ty Pennington and chef Emeril Lagasse.

If you’re a morning-TV kind of person, the segment will air on Good Morning America this Friday between 7 and 9 a.m. No, they didn’t give us a more specific time than that, so you now have an excuse to sit on your couch glued to the TV for two straight hours during daylight hours waiting for it to air.
